We are looking for another Standard Bearer to help with representing the Branch at a wide range of events. The Standard Bearer is very much part of the public face of the RBL. Full training is available even competition if you are interested. If you fancy a bit of ceremonial from time to time give us a call.
Next branch meeting Wednesday the 8th February
The Branch meets at The Sportsmans Inn, Ivybridge.
Branch meetings take place on the second Wednesday of each month, commencing at 8pm. New and old members alike are welcome, please come along and support this excellent cause - see the membership Secretary on the night if you would like to join or pick up an application form from The Sportsmans Inn at any time.
Use the menu buttons opposite to navigate around our site, which also hosts the Mark of Respect Bike Builders. This is a group of local bikers who, having built a Bristish style chopper last year, are this year building a trike to raise funds for the 90th anniversary appeal for the Royal British Legion.
The 2011/2012 Poppy Appeal has already exceeded last years total. A big 'thank you' to all those who helped collect or made contributions.
2012 will see the 30th anniversary of the Falklands conflict. Any local events to mark the occasion will be posted on the web site.
Congratulations to Chris Capaldi who won this fantastic bike with ticket number 2294.
Over £6000 raised with £1000 already donated to the RBL - our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported this project.
The bike was presented 21 Nov 10 at The Sportsmans Inn, Ivybridge, just after the launch of Poppy Bike 2 at The Bridge Inn, Ivybridge.
